Well...there are now (Kwaj time) 39 days and a wake-up before I leave for Vegas to seemy lovely bride and our eldest son ,his wife and the grandchildren.......some events have transpired and Mom/Lexy sent an email out about old Ike(the hurricane) which kinda made the house in Calvert a little uncomfortable as there was no electricity for about 5 days....Mom is now back in Calvert at the moment and preparing to make a road-trip to Huntsville to see David & Sarah ....meet the new doggie they have since Mom will be housesitting the house and dog sitting the 3 dogs while David & Sarah are on their honeymoon.....I've sent the flight info out as to Mom's travel times and arrival and departure times from all the places she'll be arriving and going from.....I/we're very excited about the up-coming family addition (Sarah) and my returning to Texas from Kwaj.
There are a few minor mixed emotions about leaving Kwaj....but the greatest joy in my life is spending time and being with my wife!
So...home I go!
As Mom stated we learned quite a bit while out here in the tropics.....things like you don't need a "lot" of land to have a garden....just LOTS of "containers" whether they be trash cans...5 gallon buckets or true flower pots.....soil some TLC and presto! you can now have vegetables grown for the eating.....
Sometimes I ramble and for this I apologize but as I try to get info and thoughts out I just toss in what is currently cruising through my brain....remember Mom is the organized one!
Other info needing shared is Mr. Neil Dye the DJ Guy from Kwaj will be arriving in Vegas the same day I am and has suggested the possibility of dining w/ the family that evening....I'll be asking our lovely daughter in law DD about the possibility of a nice lasagna dinner for that meal!
DD is a FINE cook.....
There are quite a few folks from Kwaj and other points whom will be making the trek to Vegas for the wedding......looks like a GRAND time will be had by all......
Until we see each other....as my Uncle Bud used to tell Lexy and I... "be good and always remember to be kind to one-another"....
All my Love....
