Something New

Well since our children have their own blogs and webpages this is to become my attempt to keep the family both near and far up to date with what's happening in our lives here in the Marshall Islands.
After fussing at our future daughter-in-law about not updating her blog and then David as well...Sarah informed me I had yet to post anything....and I created this blogspot about the end of September!
So here goes the latest and sometimes not greatest news....Lexy and I are doing fine ,work tends to interfere with our recreation here sometimes and that's just part of life here and we accept that.
We're really looking forward to the wedding of David and Sarah November 15th 2008!
Nashville in the fall ....ought to be a colorful time of year as when on a tropical island tis difficult to get in the "holiday" spirit when the temps every day are pretty much 78 to 87 degrees!
The church where it will be held in Nashville is just gorgeous!
Father John Sheehan will be performing the ceremony and we're still attempting to figure out where to have the rehearsal dinner!
David is still overseas as well in another remote locale....Christopher and Danyel are in Las Vegas....Scott and Beth are currently in Tulsa....
Dad and Patty are back in College Station....
Thanksgiving here was a nice repast as it usually is....we fried a turkey ...baked a ham and had way to much food and to many desserts (if having to many desserts is possible!)
We'll be decorating the place beginning this evening for Christmas and that's always fun and challenging at the same time.....that's all for now stay tuned and I'll try to keep this fairly up to date! NO PROMISES!
